Ex Cartographica Transilvaniae, Moldaviae, Vallachiae

A list of maps of the teritories of todays Romania (Transylvania, Moldavia, Wallachia) published between 1477 and 1850.

The list presents a number of maps printed from 1477 to 1850 (and some maps after that date). The list is by no means complete. Some (but not all) of the maps presented here are part of my collection. While the collection is not very extensive, it does contain important maps of the area and representative for the different periods of cartography. Most maps are printed but there are also some that are manuscript.

Look, as a reference, at a nowadays map of Romania.
